Rapper BoB wants us all to know that the earth is really flat and has taken to twitter to spread his message. In over a dozen tweets, the rapper laid out his evidence that we’ve been lied to by scientists, who made us believe the earth is round. But not everyone is convinced.
“A lot of people are turned off by the phrase ‘flat earth’ ... but there’s no way u can see all the evidence and not know... grow up,” the rapper tweeted. BoB believes the earth is in fact flat because ‘no matter how high in elevation you are... the horizon is always eye level.’
BoB also has first hand evidence to back up his claim. "I was on a plane the SAME time the Red Bull jump happened," he tweeted. "The pilot told us to lookout the window.. 5 miles to the left was the balloon. We were flying at the SAME altitude as the guy who did the red bull jump... NO curve... even tho their footage shows otherwise.”

But as he continued to try and get the rest of us onboard with his thinking, prominent American astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson got involved, posting rebuttals to some of of the rapper’s evidence. "Earth's curve indeed blocks 150 (not 170) ft of Manhattan. But most buildings in midtown are waaay taller than that," he tweeted.
"Flat Earth is a problem only when people in charge think that way. No law stops you from regressively basking in it,” he added. “Duude—to be clear: Being five centuries regressed in your reasoning doesn't mean we all can't still like your music.”

BoB later posted a ‘diss track’ titled ‘Flatline’ to Soundcloud, where he sampled recordings of Tyson talking about the shape of the earth. But BoB’s thinking might not be as out of left field as you would think.
In the US the ‘flat-earther’ movement has been gaining followers recently and Goggle trends also reports that there has been a major increase in the number of people searching 'Is the Earth flat?’ in recent months.
