Proud of her body! Ariel Winter hit the 2016 SAG Awards red carpet on Saturday, January 30, in an open-backed dress that revealed her breast reduction scars.
Wardrobe malfunction? Hardly. “Guys there is a reason I didn’t make an effort to cover up my scars!” the Modern Family actress, 18, tweeted after the awards ceremony. “They are part of me and I’m not ashamed of them at all. :)”
Winter underwent breast reduction surgery to go from a 32F to a 34D last June. “I got it for myself,” she told Glamour in August 2015. “I can’t even really put it into words about how amazing it feels to really feel right.”
The actress, who recently reunited with boyfriend Laurent Gaudette after the two seemed to split in December, added that finally, she was excited to get dressed up. “Now I can wear all styles of dresses and all styles of things!” Winter said. “I don’t always have to pick the tightest, most formfitting dress I can find… I’m excited to finally actually feel confident and not just appear confident.”
Clearly, her confidence levels are through the roof! Winter donned a plunging burgundy bodysuit with a lace bra for a date night with Gaudette on January 31, the night after the 2016 SAG Awards.
