North Korea's propaganda war with the south has taken a turn for the dirty after the Kim Jong-un -lednation launched a wave of vile 'poo bombs' at his bitter rivals.

The Supreme Leader is thought to have told authorities to send the balloons filled with used toilet paper, cigarette butts and dirty tissues.

Equipped with a timer and an explosive device, the muck-filled balloons are designed to blow up and drop their filthy load in South Korea.

The dispute escalated after North Korea carried out its fourth underground nuclear test on January 6, prompting the South to send balloons carrying propaganda.

In addition, the South resumed the blaring of pop music and propaganda through loud speakers into the North.

Within days, the North had retaliated, sending balloons of their own.

Initially, the South Korean authorities feared a biochemical attack when the balloons started sailing over their country, reports the JoongAng Daily.

However, they soon discovered they contained crude propaganda messages.

It's estimated that 1million leaflets have been sent by the North.

Many of them contain the demand: "Stop the anti-North psychological warfare broadcasts that light the fuse of war."

Others blame South Korean leader Park Geun-hye for the tensions.

They say: "Knock out the gang of Park Geun-hye , who aggravated North-South relations by resuming anti-North psychological broadcasts"

Mrs Park has described the messages as "political filth".

Authorities in the South have been called to collect balloons that failed to explode.

Speaking to the JoongAng Daily , a military official said: "When we opened up a bundle that had dropped on the ground, we found plastic bags filled with leaflets and mixed with trash"

"We were concerned that North Korea could have sent biochemical substances to harm our people, but after analysing the contents it was just trash."

A police officer said: "In some of the bundles, there were cigarette butts, tissues and daily waste," adding that it included "used toilet paper."

This is Kim Jong-un's new high-tech aerial waste disposal system. :giggle:

It sounds like something on the lines of the French catapulting a cow to King Arthur in Monty Python and the Holy Grail...
