An 83-year-old man and his 89-year-old wife were charged last week by North Middleton Township police after allegedly threatening to kill their neighbor when they found cat feces on their property.

Harold A. and Ruth C. Rought had been feeding stray cats in the neighborhood, police said. When they found the feces on their Pennsylvania Avenue property, they told police by phone and in person that they were going to shoot their neighbor, who they believe was responsible.

Husband and wife were charged with terroristic threats and harassment.

I know the feeling! My two neighbors to the north have 3 cats, the damn things set off my security lights all the time and they mark their territory around the front of my house continuously. If I set a trash bag by my door for a few minutes, there will be spray on it when I come back and take it to the bin.

So any time I see them, I chase them!

I sued my neighbor over their dumb ass cat. They'd let it out at night and for some reason it liked to sleep on my car. I had new cat claw scratches on my paint job every morning. I called the Police and they said gather evidence and take them to court so I did.

After 1 month of night vision filming (security camera w/ DVR) I took them to court for a new paint job and won easily. I hope their cat was worth the $5k it cost them.

5k to paint a hood? Was it gold paint?

It's a custom paint job and the cat climbed up onto the hood from every angle possible. The bumper and both front corner panels were covered. The claws went straight through the clear coat and in some areas you could almost see the exposed metal.

The paint job was $3500, $500 for the cameras and DVR, and $1000 for wasting my time.
