A bankruptcy judge has ordered rapper 50 Cent to explain the pictures he posted on Instagram featuring large amounts of cash.

Judge Ann Nevins told 50 Cent’s lawyer that photos posted to his Instagram account featuring huge sums of cash raise questions about his need for bankruptcy.

One photo shared by 50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis James Jackson III, shows him sitting on the floor next to stacks of money spelling out the word ‘BROKE.’

Another photo shows bundles of money inside of a mini refrigerator.

The third photo pointed out by the judge shows 50 Cent sitting on a bed, surround by piles of cash.

“There’s a purpose of having a bankruptcy process be transparent, and part of that purpose is to inspire confidence in the process,” Judge Ann Nevins said, adding that bankruptcy should be reserved for “honest, but unfortunate” people looking for a new start.

According to the Wall Street Journal, the judge was alerted to the photos after Lastonia Leviston pointed them out. Leviston won $7 million in a sex tape dispute with the rapper, but has been unable to collect the money since he filed for bankruptcy. The rapper also reportedly owes roughly $18 million to his mortgage lender and to his partner in a failed headphone deal.

Jackson’s lawyer did not immediately respond to the judge’s order.
