Funny how so many people/news reporters are trying to portray Donald Trump supporters as racist but when Obama was running, all the black people doing/saying the exact same thing barely made the news, if at all.

Like I always say, only white people can be racist obviously.

Someone has to emerge as the sole alternative to Trump. And with probably a larger portion of the vote, and I'd much rather that be Kasich. Rubio has become almost as annoying as Cruz, so even looking at it that way, we're back to Kasich.

Should we move all this to a Presidential election thread as to not bog down this one?

I can see why you'd want Kasich. The guy seems like the only adult who doesn't want to sling insults and play 'he-said-she-said' at the debates, and would rather talk about policy. With only 6% of delegates to Trump's 27% and Cruz's 19% does the guy have a shot at coming from behind? Or does any Rebulican have a chance of stopping Trump's momentum at this point?

Haven't been following the Republican primary closely but it is sounding like Trump has run away with it already no?

Assuming the Cruz and Rubio votes are from Repubs that do not want to vote Trump, I think the only shot Kasich has is if those two drop out. Or if Trump does something so outrageous he is forced out.

I live near the border and we are being flooded with illegals...daily. He has gone to this extreme because nobody will do anything to curb the problem. So he comes up with a drastic measure and as you can see people are responding positively to it.

Also, he isnt saying Muslims cant come in, he merely said we need to stop bringing in Muslim refugees from problem parts of the world until they can be properly vetted. The FBI has admitted the current way we are doing this leaves them with no idea who the people are.

"Donald J. Trump is calling for a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country's representatives can figure out what is going on"

DemonGeminiX
03-08-2016, 08:07 PM
Well, here's the thing: Atheists, Christians, and Jews don't blow shit up, or fly planes into skyscrapers, etc etc etc. Until we get a better handle on our intelligence capabilities, we shouldn't be letting in Muslims. It's just too damn risky. Ask your European brethren how good of an idea letting them in was... start with Germany. And yes, there should be a way to stop Porky's relatives from entering illegally. There should be strong border controls. And not just because of Mexicans, but because jihadists can get through those holes as well.

Your media will probably spin him as a lunatic as our MSM tries as well. This is because all the people in developed countries at the very top don't want an outsider in the white house stirring shit up and ruining their gravy train. TPP has pushed tons of jobs out of this country and into others, and as the unemployment here goes up, those top dogs still get rich, and the top dogs in the country the jobs get pushed to IE China get rich on the backs of their slave labor. So the top cashes in while the middle and bottom suffer, mostly the middle because were are the only ones making the money that supports the bottom.

DemonGeminiX

Maybe it's what we are being drip fed by the media that turn my views against trump

I've noticed that just about every other free nation in the world is a tad more liberal than we are. Of course, by tad I actually mean miles apart but hey, who's counting? Liberty is choice. You guys don't have very much choice in what you give to who... your government has decreed it. We're fighting to keep our right to make that choice intact. Our government shouldn't be decreeing anything. They need our approval.

I also believe that you don't feel the full force of our immigration problem because you guys have a natural fence... miles (or kilometers) of water around your island. Y'all could always turn the boat away. It's far less likely that people are gonna sneak in to your country like they do over here. And don't kid yourself, a lot of the people that sneak in here are people you wouldn't want in your backyard either.

Well, it's either Trump or one of the other 3. I don't think the "1" of the other 3 is decided yet; maybe you have decided it's Cruz, but I am not sure it's over. If Rubio doesn't win Florida, then it's down to 3. If Kasich can take Ohio, he'll stay in and if both he and Cruz (and Rubio, if he wins Florida) can keep Trump from winning the nom outright, they could make it to a brokered convention, and maybe Kasich could do well there. Highly unlikely given how Trump is steamrolling over everything, however it is a possibility... albeit remote.

Just as a matter of perspective. I keep hearing that we've never seen a political climate like this. That we have never seen abusive police like this. That we have never seen college students stand up and be counted.

Bullshit. And ignorant of history.

Watch the documentary "the weather underground"
http://www.snagfilms.com/films/title/the_weather_underground

Watch anything about the 1968 democratic convention in Chicago. An example:
http://www.c-span.org/video/?74510-1/1968-democratic-convention

Watch a pissed off Reagan answer questions about Berkley student riots in 1969.

This is pussy SJW bullshit in comparison. And I agree with the sentiment that the social justice warriors will get Trump elected by playing into his hand.

He thinks this legitimizes him as a viable candidate and expects to do well in subsequent races.

But much more importantly...

The delegates at the convention, who are largely assembled by state party process of insiders, are required to vote based on the primary results on the first vote only. If no candidate has enough to win the nomination, the delegates can vote for whomever they chose on subsequent rounds. That means that anyone left standing (even a new person brought in for the convention - Romney?) at the time of the convention can get the nomination. Kasich is betting that the establishment will not coalesce around Trump or Cruz and move to him.

Also, most delegates are not selected by the state parties until may or June and the party can change the convention rules as they see fit up before the convention.

If they go to a brokered convention, and Trump has the most delegates, even though he doesn't have the majority required to win outright, and if they do back room dealings and deny Trump the nomination somehow, there are going to be a LOT of pissed off voters in this country and it probably would destroy the republican party and almost guarantee Hillary the White House.

I agree, but a) they'd rather maintain control and status quo even if it means waiting 4-8 years, and b) the money brokers don't care of it s D or an R, as long as they have control of the person, so Hillary is better than Trump.

I mean c'mon, McCain? Romney? They have zero interest in a Maverick.

I have been saying this, the reason they still had 4 going into yesterday was to suck as many delegates away from Trump as they can in order for him to not hit his number. That being said, even if he were to hit his number, the Party can still nominate someone else, which it sounds like they plan on doing anyway

If they go forward and nominate someone other than Trump when, even if he doesn't have all the delegates needed, he will have by far the most and he will have won the most states, it will fracture and destroy the republican party as we know it today. Which will be good and bad. Good in the sense that we would actually probably have a third party to choose from, but bad that whatever the republican party fractured into, they would both be competing for votes from each other and that would give the democrats an edge in every single election.

All of these liberal websites and even some of the liberal mainstream news is disgusting trying to say that if you support Donald Trump, you are a racist and a xenophobe. So, because they go out of their way to find the weirdos that support Trump, that makes everyone a racist that supports him? But of course it wasn't racist or anything when the Black Panthers were standing outside of polling places in the 2012 election or when Obama carries the black vote by 98% in this country or when blacks came out and specifically stated that they were voting for Obama because he was going to give them free stuff. requisite FBD weigh-in....

Trump is the only candidate that has the potential to not be an insider or bought off by them. I'm inclined to believe that, given that even the Kochs are willing to back Hitlery over him.

Every other candidate, you know precisely what you will get

Cankles...I dont even need to go there

Cruz....with his missing important votes and strategic watering-downs....and his goldman sachs bankster lackey and CFR membere wife of his, with her name on documents supporting the creation of a north american union, obliterating the canadian and mexican borders...and not to mention, his back room being completely staffed by the same fucknuts that were in bush's back room...

Sanders, I am surprised there's so many people all ga-ga over him, its Obama all over again. Sanders even went so far as to water down the audit the fed bill, planting his foot precisely where he claims it wouldnt go, so we can expect nothing substantial from him outside of a continuation of all Bankster policies. (But I have to say, I am actually surprised at the sheer thoroughness of electoral fraud that is happening inside the DNC where they just keep handing delegates to cankles....it is so in your face obvious it almost makes it look like the RNC's electoral fraud against Ron Paul was legit in comparison  )

and Kasicshchc.....well....like Trump said in Waterbury this weekend, mathematically eliminated already, GTFO.

Now for more crazy FBD opinion,

The second Trump makes a move against the counterfeiting scheme that people generally know as Central Banking, they will not be able to find a drug addled MKUltra participant fast enough to put a bullet in him. He had best pick a candidate for VP that they will hate even more than he, such as Jesse Ventura or something  But if its one of those Reagan/Bush situations where he stupidly picks the former head of the CIA as his running mate.....they will end his life, pronto.

Predictions....if Trump gets the nomination and they are unable to electoral fraud it away from him, expect market shittyness, because....banksters
If Trump wins, expect market crash...
but who knows how bad that will be - 9 straight lost meals is all it takes for Anarchy, generally speaking. If its bad enough that martial law is declared....well, will we have elections while martial law's going on?

Anyway....the USA is bankrupt. We need someone in there that knows how to properly manage a bankruptcy.

IMHO first thing he should do is issue an EO to nationalize the FedRes and declare all debts owed to FR banks immediately null and void, wonder what our national "debt" would look like once that's wiped away. Next, declassify all 911 material, arrest Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld/Clintons and everyone in between who was involved.

Either way....call me a crazy prepper....but I will have at min a month or three of food stocked up as this year rolls on. The "news" is getting ridiculous, and I find myself all too often wishing I had left for the mountains of another country already.

Mr Kasich did not have a path to secure the nomination outright, but pledged to lobby for his candidacy during the Republican convention in July.

I just want to hear those sweet words out of trump's mouth when he gets to debate hillary

"how can anyone trust a thing you say, when you lie about almost everything you've ever done"

it was funny seeing the look on my buddy's face last night when he realized that if its hil vs trump then that means they will debate each other

With Trump being the last man standing, it definitely helps the republicans since Bernie isn't going away and will continue to be a thorn in Hillary's side. Now Trump can put 100% of his focus on the general election and start to name his VP and potential cabinet members.

and let's not forget:

...relying upon the definition of "sexual relations" as proposed by the prosecution and agreed by the defense and by Judge Susan Webber Wright, who was hearing the Paula Jones case, Clinton claimed that because certain acts were performed on him, not by him, he did not engage in sexual relations...

this guy banzai is fucking brilliant, bit more of an artist than anything else so there's a ton of random pictures across his page. but his political and financial commentary is awesome, blatant, informed, has all kinds of historical overlap and shit. good stuff.
