CRESTVIEW — A woman who drove into a Crestview Waffle House last October was arrested earlier this month on charges of DUI with property damage.
The 44-year-old Crestview woman attempted to flee after driving into the restaurant, according to her Crestview Police Department arrest report.
She was attempting to park when she drove over the curb and into the restaurant, breaking through the wall and windows.
Two Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office deputies who were nearby and heard the crash kept her from leaving the scene. They noticed that she wasn’t wearing any pants and was unable to stand without assistance, according to her arrest report.
She was injured in the crash. At the hospital, her blood alcohol level was determined to be .295.
