Family of Teen Killed While Burglarizing Home: 'How He Going to Get His Money to Have Clothes'

The family of a teen who was shot and killed by a homeowner while burglarizing a house on Thursday, is now speaking out.
Seventeen year-old Trevon Johnson sustained one bullet would that proved fatal after the homeowner was alerted to the burglary.
The homeowner, who was concealed carrying at the time, returned to their residence beating the police to the scene, only to discover Johnson climbing out the window. A confrontation ensued and the fatal shot was fired.
“I don’t care if she have her gun license or any of that. That is way beyond the law – way beyond,” claimed Johnson’s cousin, Nautika Harris.
She continued:
“You have to look at it from every child’s point of view that was raised in the hood. You have to understand… how he going to get his money to have clothes to go to school? You have to look at it from his point-of-view. He was not supposed to die like this. He had a future ahead of him. Trevon had goals… he was a funny guy, very big on education, loved learning.”
Well Ms. Harris, perhaps your cousin would still be here if he hadn’t squandered his life away committing illegal acts. Sorry to say, that homeowner was most certainly justified in using deadly force against your cousin during the commission of his felony.
