NASA experts, Stephen Hawking, and other acclaimed scientists have been searching for signs of life outside our planet for years…but one so-called alien hunter claims to have beaten them to it.
And he is not talking tiny single-celled organisms…no, this UFO enthusiast claims to have found evidence of the remains of humanoid skulls on the surface of the Red Planet.
What's more, Scott C Waring, editor of UFO Sightings Daily blog site, claims NASA has overlooked the Martian-oid mug staring out of one of the US space agency's very own pictures, and a series of others found over the past few years.
Mr Waring, who spends hours scouring through pictures placed online by NASA after they are beamed to earth from the Mars Curiosity and Spirit rover droids, which are exploring the planet, is convinced the amount of so-called skulls he and other UFO hunters have found in the pictures is proof of intelligent alien life once existing on the Red Planet.
Unfortunately he has yet to convince many users of his website and other forums, who claim the latest discovery and those before it are just odd-shaped rocks.

He blogged: "While looking through some sold Spirit rover photos, I came across a skull tilted over on one side."
He claimed the full face was hard to make out due to half being in shadow.
He said: "I copied half and flipped it over so we could see its full face. it is a skull for sure. The eye sockets really make that clear."
The "skull" is the latest in a long line of strange finds in NASA Mars pictures by Mr Waring and other alien chasers.
Not only have other "human-like skulls" previously been found, but other objects include those claimed to resemble dinosaur bones, prehistoric tools, remains of buildings and animals including a giant mouse, bear and a crab.

But most scientists say it is just pareidolia, when the brain tricks the eyes into seeing familiar shapes and objects in textures and patterns like rock surfaces or clouds.
Followers of Mr Waring had mixed views on his latest "skull".
Lee Papril said: "Come on! The mirror image mode on your phone.
"Is this supposed to be a little-bit-late April Fools' Joke?"
One with the user name X-15 commented: "We really cannot deduce anything regarding the skull unless NASA has the rover take closer and higher definition pictures and videos of everything."
Michael Dougherty said: "The "skull" as you call it isn't hollow, nor does it seem broken like a skull would be at the top.
"Look inside. It looks exactly like the rest of the rocks around it. No different at all.
"Why do think it isn't a rock? Seriously."
But another poster using the name Thebigfakeworld joined in.
He said: "Great find! I'm seeing a few other things in the photo as well, a maybe carved face to the upper right of the skull along with what looks to be be a bowl or plate of some short sticking out of the ground in the back left."
