LAUREL COUNTY (WKYT) - Laurel County deputies arrested a 38-year-old man after they received a complaint that he was eating mulch.
According to the Facebook page of Laurel County Sheriff Department, deputies arrested Johnny Wayne Hurt at a motel off Highway 770 Tuesday night.
They found Hurt in a room that was destroyed. Dresser drawers were on the floor, and the bed mattresses were off the bed and against the wall.
Hurt was under the influence of drugs, the post said.
Hurt is charged with public intoxication, disorderly conduct, and criminal mischief.
