IKER CASILLAS looks set join David Beckham’s MLS team, Miami FC, in 2018.

Spanish magazine Semana reveal the World Cup-winning goalkeeper will move to the US city with his new wife, Sara Carbonero.

Miami FC is a franchise let by Beckham and four business partners, which should officially join the MLS in 2018 pending negotiations over stadium and financing.

Casillas left Real Madrid to join Porto in the summer of 2015 after 18 years with the Spanish side.

His club trophy cabinet is bursting with five La Liga titles, the Copa del Rey twice and three Champions League medals.

While, with Spain, he won the European Championships twice and the World Cup in 2010.

Casillas was named Europe’s Best Goalkeeper six times and recently became the joint-holder of the most international appearances in Europe with a staggering 166 caps.

He was a mainstay in the Real Madrid team having his debut aged just 16 against Rosenborg in a Champions League tie in 1997.

And, in 2000, he became the youngest goalkeeper to appear in a final — just four days after his 19th birthday.

He was No1 at the Bernabeu until some erratic form saw Jose Mourinho prefer Diego Lopez ahead of him in his final season as manager of Los Blancos in 2013.

Carlo Ancelotti replaced the ‘Special One’ that summer and Casillas regained his place for the subsequent two campaigns under the Italian.

However, the three-time Champions League-winning manager was replaced by Rafa Benitez in 2015 and it seemed nailed on the former Liverpool coach would prise David de Gea away from Manchester United.

And, with Casillas’ place no longer guaranteed, he moved to Portugal.

His time at Porto has been mixed — with a high profile error condemning his side to a 1-0 defeat against Vitoria de Guimaraes.

However, in the 2-1 victory over Chelsea, he played his 152nd Champions League game — overtaking Xavi as the record appearance maker.

Casillas captained Spain to double back-to-back European Championship success in 2008 and 2012 — and was also skipper for their World Cup triumph in 2010.

The goalkeeper will be the latest legend to join up with Beckham in Miami.

Milan idols Paolo Maldini and Alessandro, along with Italy great Christian Vieri, joining the backroom staff.
