YORK COUNTY, SC (WBTV) -
A Clover man was arrested Wednesday after investigators saw an online ad offering marijuana.
According to York County's Multi-jurisdictional Drug Enforcement Unit, James Kinley III, 27, posted an ad on Craigslist titled "Pot... I SELL WEED - $200."
The ad not only went into detail about prices and locations where he would sell the drug, but also had Kinley's picture and phone number.
Once authorities were made aware of the ad, an agent texted the number and asked if it was real. Kinley reportedly called the agent back, asked what he needed and arranged a location to meet.
When Kinley arrived at the meeting place to sell the agent a half ounce of marijuana, he was taken into custody.
No further information about his charges have been released.
