There are some horrid, horrid people out there.
A puppy was trapped in a drum of tar for over 24 hours after heartless humans threw him in there and ignored his cries for help.
The innocent puppy was thrown in by an unknown person, who decided it was okay to leave him submerged in sticky tar.
But that wasn’t the worst of it either.

Someone heard the helpless puppy scream and pushed him further down in the drum so that his screams didn’t ‘disturb’ them.
It was only when a few Good Samaritans walked passed the drum and heard his screams that he was rescued – 24 hours later.

The puppy was taken to the animal rescue shelter H.O.M.E, where it was immediately seen.
Vet Dr Kiran Kumar administered litres of kerosene, eye drops and drips to remove as much of the tar as possible.
Thankfully, the puppy is fine but is still traumatised by his experience.
