PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. – The Oklahoma teenager who was involved in a tragic accident at a Florida beach has passed away.
Officials told WJGH that 17-year-old Travor Brown of Broken Arrow, Okla. was visiting Panama City Beach, Florida with his family.
Witnesses say the teen had created a big tunnel against the sand ledge and was inside it when it collapsed.
Immediately, strangers and officials began digging for the teenager.

Once authorities found Brown, they began performing CPR on him.
“It was like really stressful because they were all trying to save him and we really didn’t know how it was gonna end up,” one witness told WJGH.
The teenager was rushed to the hospital in critical condition and placed on life support.
A GoFundMe page for Brown states that the teen’s mother has decided to remove her son from life support.
“It is with a very heavy and broken heart that I share with you all that Tarah has made the decision to remove Travor from life support within the next few hours,” the page states.
Brown passed away shortly after being taken off life support, a family member said.
