A Casper man is facing drug charges after he went door-to-door Monday asking residents if they wanted to buy cocaine from him, a police report alleges.

Thomas Avery Glenn is charged with possession of meth, possession of cocaine and possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver. Glenn, 56, was being held in the Natrona County Detention Center as of Tuesday morning.

A woman who lives on Conwell Street called police about 6:30 p.m. to report a man had approached her in her yard asking if she wanted to get high, the police report states. She said the man told her he had cocaine and repeatedly asked her if she wanted to buy drugs from him. She told the man to leave her property. She told police she then saw the man walk across the street and knock on the door of her neighbor’s house, according to the report.

When officers arrived, Glenn turned away from them and walked through a yard and stopped against a fence, the report states. An officer approached him and saw a small paper packet on the ground on the other side of the fence. When he opened it, he found cocaine and methamphetamine inside, according to the report.

Glenn told police the drugs were not his and that he had been going door-to-door looking for tree trimming work, the report states.
