An armed man wearing a mask is reported to have opened fire at a cinema complex in western Germany.
German media report that at least 20 people have been injured in the attack at the Kinopolis complex in Viernheim, near Frankfurt.
They say the gunman is inside the complex and surrounded by armed police, who have sealed off the area.
It is unclear whether he is alone or if he has taken hostages.

At least 20 people are said have been injured - many apparently as the result of a release of tear gas in a confined space.

i think the cops may of done more damage on this one :lol:

Apparently, the "shooter" didn't shoot anybody. It was all the cops and the tear gas.

Conflicting reports said the shooter, who was found to be only armed with a blank-firing weapon, had either been shot dead by police or arrested after he barricaded himself inside

....

also, it was pointed out that the photo from the helicopter was a stock photo and not a photo from this event
