Nobody is quite sure what was going through this man's head when he was caught on video breaking into a closed Sacramento restaurant then liberally sprinkling his head and body with powdered sugar.
The popular restaurant Mother was closed Saturday afternoon when the man apparently managed to sneak in through a door an employee left partially open.
Security footage shows the man crouching behind a counter under an employee goes to a back room, then at the counter where he powders himself with sugar, takes a beer and staples take-out containers -- for some reason.
Restaurant partner Ryan Donahue saw the man sneak in and called police, who reportedly later arrested him for a series of break-ins. His name was not released.
