As disgusting and sad as it is, I kind of understand why men slut shame women. They're being raised their whole lives by parents who jokingly tell them when they're kids "my son gets all the girls, he's so handsome" and then they grow up thinking that they're entitled to "all the girls." Or they're raised being taught they're crap, and then resent girls off the bat for never wanting to be with them because they're crap.
So in order to preserve their pride, men slut-shame women. It's, again, hopelessly sad and gross, but I get why men do it.
But I don't know why women slut shame other women. And I especially don't know why a mom with a daughter would go out of her way to shame a woman.Like this mother who had a bone to pick with Taylor Swift's vagina and used it as the reason why she preaches and teaches Christianity.

She posted this filthy tweet that perpetuates the false notion that women who have tons of sex have "loose" vaginas with a visible labia.

This is disgusting on so many counts. First of all, you're supposed to be a #Christian mom, and you're talking about pop star's vaginas? And you're shaming them for having what you presume is a "loose" vagina?
Not to mention that the "loose vagina" myth is totally false.
“Many people falsely assume that women who have less sex have ‘tighter’ vaginas, and women who have more sex have ‘looser’ vaginas—but this is just a complete misconception,” "[Vaginal muscles] contract and go back to their normal shape after sexual intercourse and also after childbirth." Dr. Jennifer Wider, a women's health specialist, said in an interview with Women's Health Magazine back in 2015.
Even though there are a lot of idiots out there who liked Mayers' tweet, plenty of people pointed out how idiotic and unfair the comment pointed at Swift was.

This isn't the first time that Taylor Swift's body and sexuality came into question. When she broke up with Calvin Harris, people were talking all kinds of smack.

Swift also spoke in the past about the unfair treatment from the media she's receiving regarding her relationships:
"I'm only allowed to date if it's for a lasting, multiple-year relationship. Otherwise I'm a, quote, 'serial dater'. Or, quote, 'boy crazy'. The narrative has been so wrong, every time it was the same. It's 'Taylor spotted talking to this guy, she's chasing him.' They create a beginning to the story that didn't happen most of the time, so then they have to create an ending."
Ahh, the joys of being a woman in modern society.
