Have any of you guys or your kids started playing this App? It's not available in Canada yet but a bunch of people I know have found a way to get it anyways, and are running around town like a bunch of crazies catching Pokemon. I think it's really got a handle both on the young crowd, and the late 20's/early 30's crowd who were 10-14 when the Pokemon craze really hit. Their stock is off the charts, it became the biggest mobile game App in 5 days. I know people have wanted both augmented reality games and a new Pokemon mobile game for a decade but holy shit... this is on another level :lol:

He drove me to the doctor today, since I can't drive on this medication, and in return I had to hold his phone while he drove around town and I spotted out rushing leaves and blue towers called stores and I hit critters in the head with balls for him. The town was crawling with people out looking for critters. At least it's getting people outside and walking, but I spent way more time with this app than I ever intended.

The upside is that I think I have a ride to the gym tomorrow. I get to swim while he walks around the track trying to hatch an egg or something.

Stopped at one of the bigger parks in the city on the way home from hockey last night (yes I'm a nerd, I know). 11:30pm at night and there must've been 200-300 people sitting on the grass quietly playing this game. The parking lot was full! :lol: I even saw one person picking up garbage, and the people smoking were all sitting further away at the back. People were happy and joking with strangers.

There's going to be a LOT of shit written about the dumb things people do while playing this game... but so far I've been really impressed with how the community is generally acting here.
