The vile villain suspected of flinging feces at Upper East Side women is now where he belongs — in the can.
Cops nabbed Ekwan Hill, 42, at a Brooklyn homeless shelter Thursday night after a block-by-block search near the crime scenes failed to flush out the mad pooper.
A tip from a security guard led officers to the Myrtle Ave. Men’s Shelter in Bedford-Stuyvesant, where Hill was munching away on his dinner, sources said.
Detectives from Manhattan’s Special Victims division walked Hill from their East Harlem base Friday afternoon, as he offered a bizarre explanation for his alleged crimes.
“God did it!” the frequent jailbird blurted out.
A reporter asked about the filthy nature of the Monday attacks.
“Why the filth? It’s a Farrakhan thing,” the unhinged suspect added, referring to the leader of the Nation of Islam.

“What they do to you, they try to turn you to a slave on Earth.”
Hill was charged with assault and forcible touching after his two victims picked him out of a police lineup, cops said. Prosecutors tacked on sex abuse charges at his arraignment in Manhattan Supreme Court late Friday, where Hill was held in lieu of $90,000 bail.
“Tough ladies,” NYPD Chief of Detectives Robert Boyce said of the victims. “Right now they’re doing fine. Obviously the ghastliness of the crime has upset them.”
In Hill’s locker at the shelter for mentally ill men, cops found an Adidas T-shirt and several latex gloves — items that matched those worn by the suspect in an attack that was caught on video, Boyce said.
“That’s me,” Hill said when shown the video, according to Boyce.
Shelter residents said Hill — who has 21 prior arrests on charges including assault, drug possession and fare-jumping — had a crappy reputation.

“He’s really borderline delirious — bad body odor, talks to himself, keeps to himself,” said a resident who identified himself as Worthy. “Those feces he threw was probably his own. He’s an outcast type of dude.”
Upper East Side residents had been on edge after the sicko hurled excrement at two women in a span of four hours Monday.
The first attack came at about 2:30 p.m. when the suspect tossed poop on the face and mouth of a 33-year-old woman walking on E. 91st St. near Madison Ave.

Just before 6:15 p.m., surveillance video captured him sneaking up behind a woman on E. 74th St. near First Ave., grabbing her rear and forcing a bag of waste down her shorts. The gloved sicko shoved the woman off the sidewalk then pulled off his gloves and scampered away from the scene.
Mayor de Blasio said random poop attacks have no place in New York City.

“We’re not going to allow these kind of things to happen in our city,” he said Friday.
Boyce has described the suspect as “completely deranged.”
One shelter resident was more blunt. “He’s a scumbag,” said Scott Sibiga, 48.
Hill’s arrest prompted Sibiga to recall an incident at the shelter when someone spread poop all over a bathroom.
“There was feces all over the mirrors, all over the floors, all over the walls,” Sibiga said. “Now that I hear this, I wouldn’t doubt it was him.”
The shelter’s 160 residents are screened upon intake to determine their diagnoses and medication needs. Licensed medical staffers dispense medication onsite but cannot force unwilling residents to adhere to their regimens.
