DEVELOPING: A judge in Baltimore Monday acquitted the highest-ranking officer charged in the death of Freddie Gray, marking the fourth trial that prosecutors failed to win.

Lt. Brian Rice faced charges of involuntary manslaughter, reckless endangerment and misconduct in office.

Gray died a week after suffering a spinal injury in a police van last year, touching off protests and rioting.

Oh and by the way, one of the foundersof BLM was on the news this morning.

The lack of convictions doesn't mean the police acted appropriately with an unfortunate ending. Nope.

It means the laws need to be changed to make it easier to convict them.

someone should have went down for it and gotten nailed for manslaughter, but too bad police only get convicted if its preposterous egregious murder, manslaughter dont apply in 99.997% of cases
