Well, as we keep getting more ands more members, I thought it would be interesting to see where everyone hails from.

If your country isn't listed in the poll, after you vote, you can be more specific here in the thread (same goes for if you want to name your home state in the US or your province in Canada).

I forgot, it's Blood Pudding, I didn't remember the Fin name. It also has pig fat too!

Even thought I've been to Finland, I never had it. They did the whole background on this show.

Unless I#m very much mistaken, similar dishes are pretty common in europe, they've merely dropped out of favour a bit because people don't want to be reminded anymore that their hotdog or serrano ham once was a cute little piglet. But I know for sure that blood pudding is pretty popular in spain (called morcilla) and most of the german speaking countries. Actually, I don't mind eating these nor do I find beef or pork tongue offensive, it's the tripes that make my stomach turn.

According to wiki, wiki isn't 100%. I have not ever seen a can anywhere where I've visited here in Finland. Since I studied in Helsinki, I got to know the place well and visited a lot of places..and Helsinki is the only place I imagine it could exist if it existed.
