CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Daron Taylor saved up for a bike and built himself a trailer to lug his lawnmower to customers of the lawncare business he started at 14.

Now, the Cleveland 15-year-old has raised $20,000 from GoFundMe donors all over the country, to help him reach his goal of owning the largest lawn care service ever. D's LawnCare, which Taylor said serves eight to 10 regular customers, gained national attention after videos went viral of Taylor explaining his goals and showing off his bike.

Taylor cuts the lawns with the help of his little brother, TiShawn Holmes. When asked what motivated him to start the business, he said he was inspired by others, but that he preferred to be out cutting grass and building up business than "sitting home playing a video game all day."

"I'm happy," he said. But he has big plans: "I want it to look like where I'm sitting on the couch and have people working for me while I'm getting rest."

Taylor will go to school for digital arts next year, and wants to have a career in engineering or robotics.

Hear more about his business and his future plans in the video above.

This story can't possibly be true, ask Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson or any number of liberal black 'leaders' in the United States and they will all say the same thing....black people can't do things like this, only Whitey can. It's impossible for someone that's black to be able to do this because they are all being held back by 'the man'. [-(

Its a good story and he's on the right track, but a 'go fund me' page? Get the fuck outta here.. Just keep working hard and it will pay off... Are black people viewed as so worthless that when one of them cuts the grass we have to make a huge social scene and throw $20,000 at them?

I'm not a big fan of the whole Go Fund Me begging for money thing that happens all the time anymore, but nobody's forced to donate to it :dunno:

I want to start an island property management company but don't want to do all the hard work involved with building it from the ground up, can you guys donate 1.2 million to me to get started?

Rant time:

GoFund me has been the spawn of some really infuriating shit. I have two examples I've seen personally on my FB feed:

- The first was a trashy girl I knew from elementary school who moved to the bad part of town and became an escort in her teens... She has a few of those stupid froo-froo looking dogs. One got sick and she started a GoFundMe to pay the vet bills because she 'couldn't afford it' 'didn't know how she'd get by.' Not even a week later she's back to bragging about cars, weed, giant bongs, drinking, eating out and concerts. Triggered me hard.

- The second is a friend who is building one of those 'tiny homes' despite the fact that she's a broke-ass grad student. She can't make the payments so she started a GoFundMe and is trying to raise $15k. She's selling it to her friends and family as "there is so much red tape with tiny homes, by contributing you'll make a difference" and "help me start a Tiny Home Movement to save the planet". And it's straight bullshit. I have a friend who works beside the shop where they build these things and know they pump out a half-dozen a year. Hers just sits there not being worked on because she personally doesn't have the money. Bitch we're all struggling to save for our own mortgages, pay student dept, save for retirement. My wife and I just threw our life savings at a condo. If you think I'm giving you a dime to finish a ill-conceived project you shouldn't have started, you're dreaming. Dirty hippies

In conclusion, good for this kid, but I hate GoFunMe for the most part

I'm starting to realize that you have a lot of potential.
