LEITCHFIELD, KY (WAVE) - The male victim found dead inside a large toolbox in a Grayson County creek died of multi-modal asphyxiation.
Grayson County Coroner Joe Brad Hudson said that means the victim, who has not been identified, was suffocated or strangled using more than one method at the same time.
Someone found the toolbox and the body on Tuesday near Spring Fork Bridge on Short Creek and notified the Grayson County Sheriff's Office.
Kentucky State Police is leading the investigation.
