Malia Obama was accused of smoking marijuana after a video of her puffing on a strange cigarette circulated online.
The clip was published by Radar Online, and showed the eldest Obama daughter smoking what appeared to be a joint while attending the Lollapalooza festival in Chicago. After the video surfaced, Radar Online claimed a witness reported that the 18-year-old was indeed smoking marijuana.

The clip was shared following photos that circulated which showed Obama, who is set to attend Harvard University in the fall, dancing provocatively at the festival.

The marijuana speculation comes following revelations in recent years that the teen has a history of asthma attacks.
“Well you know, Malia had asthma when she was four, and because we had good health insurance, we were able to knock it out early,” President Obama said in a 2015 interview regarding climate change and healthcare, the Daily Mail reported.
He added that he can “relate to ... the fear a parent has when your four-year-old daughter comes up to you and says, ‘Daddy, I'm having trouble breathing.’ The fright you feel is terrible.”
President Obama himself has admitted to smoking pot in the past as well as doing “a little blow” in high school and college.
“The last time I was that high, I was trying to decide my major,” he said in the past.
