Police are hoping to put a name to the sketched face of a knife-wielding man who robbed a convenience store in Berks County earlier this week.
The holdup happened Monday morning at the Valero-Shillington Food Mart on Revere Boulevard in Curmru Township.
Police on Thursday released the sketch based on a witness' description of the man, who had his face covered with a hood during the holdup.
The witness, who followed the robber a few blocks from the store, described him as being a white man who stands approximately six feet tall or taller with long, shoulder-length sandy-blonde- to brown-colored hair and scruffy facial hair. He was also said to be in his 20s or early 30s.
Anyone with information about the robbery or the man depicted in the sketch can contact Crime Alert Berks County via anonymous text to 847411, starting the message with keyword alertberks, or by calling 877-373-9913.
A cash reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest.
