TWO young women appeared on Good Morning Britain earlier to discuss how they get paid by older men to spend time with them, so that they can fund their university educations; and Piers Morgan didn’t hold back with his questions on the matter.

The women - whose names were Holly and Clover - called themselves Sugar Babies and explained how they spend time with older men for an allowance.

Holly explained that she has had five Sugar Daddies and that her current one pays her £800 to see him five times a month.

Meanwhile, Clover, who is studying for a degree in biochemistry, explained that she has been out with 15 older men, one of which paid her £8,000 per month.

Piers and co-host Susanna Reid couldn’t quite get their heads around the situation, with Susanna awkwardly saying: “No-one wants to pour cold water over this, but the idea that’s troubling me is that there’s a man paying you for this relationship. Does that not leave you open to exploitation? Doesn’t it put it close to… is it borderline dodgy?”

Never one to shy away from frank discussion, Piers then interjected with: “Prostitution is the word you’re looking for.”

Holly went on to explain that she tends to have “more of a platonic relationship” but that there is no contract involved. “There’s understanding and it’s a mutual relationship,” she added.

“How is that any different to an escort agency? It seems clinical - some old guy gives you money to hang out with him?” Piers asserted.

A man named Darren then appeared on the show, with his back to the camera and wearing a disguise. He explained that he is indeed looking for a sexual relationship with these arrangements and that he has had sex with the majority with them. He then revealed that he’s married as well.

The dating agency, known by the name Seeking Arrangements, advertises its service as creating “relationships on your terms” and has the tag line: “Where beautiful, successful people fuel mutually beneficial relationships.”

The idea behind it is to introduce Sugar Babies to Sugar Daddies, so that the ladies can “indulge in shopping sprees, expensive dinners, and exotic travels” while the men can find an “upfront and honest arrangement with someone who will cater to your needs”.

Viewers on Twitter were either shocked, understanding or found the whole thing hilarious.

“@GMB #Sugar Daddies It never changes does it? Young silly women and older pathetic men! What happened to feminism for Gods sake,” expressed one disapproving viewer.

“@GMB everyday people live in unhappy relationships just for money /companionship called marriage. Trapped unlike sugar daddies situation,” sympathised another.

“Can't believe they're on about sugar daddies on @GMB what a breakfast treat,” a third tweeter typed, clearly enjoying the segment.

Meanwhile, GMB tweeted a comment from the spokesperson of Seeking Arrangements who said: “There is a lot of love, these are relationships.”

RBP might be able to get you a list. In the past, he proved himself to be the whore-whisperer.

Been there, done that, but been a while. Craigslist was prime for sugar babies before it became big business. What made it even better is young hotties who would never be a hooker could justify it by changing the name. :score:

It seems it's mostly now through specific websites like those mentioned in the article.

The one you found for me back in the day was actually really hot.

Too bad I was dead broke and had moral reservations.

To be clear the dead broke part was really the issue. My morals are very negotiable at times.
