CRESTVIEW — A 19-year-old Crestview man was charged with lewd and lascivious battery after his victim’s father called police and said men had been going in and out of his house while he was at work.
The man told officers that a neighbor had suggested his 15-year-old daughter was inviting men to the house and having sex with them, according to the Letavious Antwon Wilks’ Crestview Police Department arrest report.
When the officer arrived at the family’s home, he and the father went into the girls’ bedroom together.
Wilks was naked in the girl’s bed, the report said.
The girl was wearing a shirt and no pants.
The victim’s father didn’t know Wilks, who told officers he was only 17.
The officer asked Wilks what he was doing in the victim’s bed without clothes on and he said he was sleeping. Later, he admitted to having sex with the girl.
The girl told officers she was a willing participant in the sexual activity and that she’d lied to Wilks about her age, telling him she was almost 17.
