JEFFERSON COUNTY - The man police believe raped three women in three different Colorado cities, tried to rape a fourth woman, and assaulted a woman in Washington State, believed he was "entitled to have sexual intercourse with whomever he wanted," according to testimony from court documents.

Marc O'Leary is charged with 28 counts in connection to sexual assaults in Golden and Westminster, as well as an attempted sexual assault in Lakewood.

He pleaded not guilty to those charges Tuesday afternoon.

O'Leary has been linked to a rape in Aurora, but charges have not been filed in that case.

O'Leary is also wanted in Washington state, where authorities say he raped a woman who is now 21-years-old.

According to the affidavit of probable cause from Snomish County in Washington, O'Leary lived in Washington State in 2006 after serving in the U.S. Army. He remained in the military, joining the Washington State Army Reserves.

The documents say the 32-year-old lived in Western Washington until at least 2009, moving to Colorado right after.

The affidavit says after O'Leary's arrest at his Lakewood home, police interviewed the people familiar to him.

"A person familiar with Defendant [O'Leary] told investigators that Defendant was in a secret society that espouses the belief that the world is divided into 'alphas' and 'bravos.' [The] Defendant believed that he was an 'alpha,' and thus was entitled to have sexual intercourse with whomever he wanted."

According to the affidavit and the testimony at O'Leary's preliminary hearing in Jefferson County, he raped his victims and photographed them in various poses. When authorities searched his home in Lakewood, they found over 400 photographs of his sexual assaults.

The affidavit states in addition to evidence in the Colorado rapes, investigators found "photographic evidence" relating to a Snomish County woman's report of rape. The now 21-year-old told police she was home alone in Lynwood, Washington in August of 2008 when O'Leary raped her.

She reported the rape to police, but later recanted her allegations. She was then charged with false reporting, but the charges were dismissed after she completed counseling.

The Snomish County affidavit says there are similarities between the Washington State case and O'Leary's alleged behavior in Colorado.

They include O'Leary's meticulous photographing of his sexual acts, telling victims if they report the assault he will post the pictures online, binding victims' hands with either shoe laces or ribbon, and using latex gloves.

In Washington state, O'Leary faces a number of charges, including burglary, kidnapping and rape.

Police in Washington state say O'Leary is also a suspect in an October 2008 attempted sexual assault in Kirkland, Washington.

He is currently being held in the Jefferson County jail on a $5 million dollar bond.
