A student woke up with more than a sore head when he realised he’d ordered his student ID after a night on the sauce.
Dáire Mac Giolla Seathanaigh, 19, decided to have some fun and apply for his student card using a funny Snapchat filter.
Dáire, who is studying Law in Liverpool, was gobsmacked when the card - which can be used as an ID and for discounts - was actually approved and his picture was complete with a misshapen head and oversized, bulging eyes.

The Belfast man joked on Facebook : “Jesus Christ, I drunkenly applied for my NUS card and it asked for a photo, so I picked one with a Snapchat filter.
“Why did they accept this? I can never use it as ID.”
His post quickly went viral and racked up over 114,000 reactions and more than 100 shares.
Thankfully for Dáire, he has reportedly been offered a new student card for free after the publicity he has given them, the Irish Mirror reports.
