The strange rock formations have sparked the interest of conspiracy theorists
A British conspiracy theorist claims to have spotted a 'chair' on Mars .
The image, which is believed to have been taken recently by the Curiosity Rover, shows several strange formations of rocks.
One is 'U-shaped' while another appears to have a shallow V-shape cut out of its centres, something the filmmaker describes as a potential seat.
The conspiracy theorist says he believes the rocks could point to the fact that Mars used to be a populated planet, and that the chairs were actually used by aliens to sit on.
But while he seems pretty convinced by his own theory, he also acknowledges that there could be a more simple explanation for the rock shapes.
Writing alongside the video, ArtAlienTV wrote: "It may just be something that is shaped like a chair but it does not look like a natural eroded rock and there is another interesting structure just to the right of it that also looks unnatural.
"The chair-shaped object is quite small. Perhaps eight inches wide or less. So if it is a chair is is child-size in scale.

Is this a chair once used by an alien from Mars?
"It may well just be a ventifact caused by wind erosion but it is very symmetrical in appearance and looks manufactured."
After explaining his theory, the man adds: "An open mind is required when viewing images from other planets. One day our very survival may depend on it."
Last week, alien hunters claimed they had found a woman on Mars in a photograph taken by Nasa (http://www.tehfalloutshelter.com/showthread.php?85752-Alien-hunters-claim-they-ve-found-a-woman-on-Mars-in-this-photograph-from-NASA).
Scott C. Waring said the image showed a dead woman wearing a dress, sprawled out on a rock on the planet's surface.
He wrote: “This is one of the few carvings I have found on Mars that depict a human-like species.
“I have found hundreds, but never looking human, and her dress is raised up in the front, and longer in the back, much like the ladies used to wear back in the 1700s here on Earth.”
