A young woman had a lucky escape after being involved in a crash in the north Highlands which left a Mini left standing on its nose wedged in between another car and a house.
The accident happened at about 2.30am on Friday on the main coastal A99, just south of Lybster in Caithness.
Police were alerted to a car going into an unoccupied property and a woman in her 20s being taken to Caithness General Hospital in Wick.
She had no serious injuries and was discharged later in the day.
Police say she was travelling southbound at the time. Police are investigating and a report will be submitted to the local procurator fiscal.
