JUPITER - A 61-year-old woman Monday evening walked up to her boyfriend, who was eating squid outside an Indiantown Road restaurant, and slapped him in the face, a Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office report says.
Then Joanne Accetturo took the squid and threw it at her longtime boyfriend, covering him with it, the report said.
Accetturo also threw the man’s wallet and fled in a four-door Buick Lesabre, the report saids.
A witness told deputies the woman grabbed one of the outdoor chairs at Einstein Bros. Bagels, in an unincorporated pocket of Jupiter just west of the Indiantown Road Bridge, and repeatedly tried to hit the man with it.
Accetturo was arrested early Tuesday at her Jupiter home, the report states. She was released under supervision later that night, jail records show.
