Christmas came early for one teenager thanks to the kindness of employees at a Best Buy store on Long Island.

The employees at the Best Buy in Valley Stream, N.Y. had noticed the teenager coming into the store every day to play a Wii U demo console.

A video posted to YouTube by Rahiem Storr shows employees presenting the unidentified teenager with a Wii U they had purchased for him.

“On behalf of all of us here at Best Buy, we bought you a Wii so that you don’t have to come in here every day and play,” said one employee in the video. “This is something that we did for you, everybody here, that you see here, we all got together and chipped in so that you could have one for yourself.”

“This can be your Christmas present, right, an early Christmas present,” the employee added.

The teen, who is playing “Super Smash Bros,” initially appears confused. However, he soon breaks into a smile when he is presented with the Nintendo game console.

The Wii U 32GB Console Deluxe Set with "Mario Kart 8" sells for $300 at Best Buy.

In a post accompanying the video, Storr explains that “the employees in this store saw an opportunity to make a child smile and did just that. They chipped in and purchased a WiiU for him with their own money.”

Really awesome.

Sadly the response these guys received is sickening. They had to come out with another vid because they said 80% of the reactions online were critical. Critisized them for assuming this kid was poor, or the kid for not reacting more emotionally in the vid. Shitbags. They did a really good deed. Why does it have to be more than that? There so many assholes on the internet
