Davie County sheriff's deputies have arrested a teacher and charged her with having sex with a male student.
The sheriff's office told local media outlets Tuesday that 27-year-old Jessica Welch Greene of Mocksville is charged with three counts of sexual activity with a student.
The victim is a boy, but authorities would not disclose how old he is.
According to Facebook, Greene appears to be married and the mother of a young child.

Deputies say the sex occurred on and off the campus of Davie County High School between November 1 and December 1.
The sheriff's office received a report from the Davie County Schools on December 2 that one of its employees at the high school might be involved in an inappropriate relationship with a student.
The school system said it received the allegations December 1.
Greene has been suspended without pay on Monday. It was not known if she has an attorney.
'The safety of all of our students continues to be a top priority,' the district said in a statement. 'And we will continue to partner with parents, our community, and law enforcement to maintain a safe teaching and learning environment for the students we serve.'
She is currently being held in jail on $15,000.
This is the second teacher in Davie County to be arrested this year for an inappropriate relationship with a student.
Shannon Wood, a former coach and teacher at Ellis Middle School, was arrested in September on charges of a statutory sex offensive with a child under 15, three counts of disseminating material harmful to a minor, one count of taking indecent liberties with a minor and one count of disseminating obscene material to a minor.
She resigned in August and had been at the school since 2007.
