LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- A 20-thousand dollar reward is now being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction of the person who shot and killed a three-year-old in Little Rock Saturday night.
According to Little Rock police, a road rage incident led to the shooting of 3-year-old Acen King.
Officers say the shooting happened at Warren and Mablevale Cutoff in southwest Little Rock.
The grandmother of the victim was at a stop sign at that intersection when she says a black Impala pulled up behind her and the driver honked his horn.
The driver of the Impala got out of his vehicle and fired one shot at the car, according to the initial report from police.
The grandmother continued driving to JC Penney at Shackleford Crossing Shopping Center and noticed her grandson was shot after arriving at the store around 6:25 p.m.
Authorities believe the grandmother and three-year-old are innocent victims and have no relationship with the suspect.
Little Rock Police Chief Kenton Buckner was also on scene Saturday. He says the shooting is a senseless act of violence.
"I certainly have no information to say that anyone in this family has done anything to cause this young person's life but this is about as frustrating as you can be as a public safety official or just a plain citizen," says Buckner.

Sunday afternoon, church leaders in Southwest Little Rock came together, calling to city officials and leaders, that something must be done.
"You got a two and three-year-old killed in three weeks, the city is out of control," said Reverend Benny Johnson, with Arkansas Stop the Violence.
Less than one month ago, a two-year-old, also killed in a car while her mother was holding her.
"We got a black city manager and black police chief who can make a difference, but not one time have they held a press conference saying look here, this is the expectations of our city," said Reverend Johnson.
Johnson, along with others claimed the city is split. They added police need to be more aware of the violence and address the issues in the Southwest portion of the city.
Reverend Thompson said the $20,000 reward helps.
"Usually does, but usually doesn't take this long and the person who knows this they are just as guilty as the person who pulled the trigger," said Reverend Thompson.
No arrests have been made.
This is Little Rock's 40th homicide of the year. Anyone with information that can help find the shooter should contact the Little rock Police Department Major Crimes Unit at 371-4660.
