LEBANON — Documents released by the police say the man accused of masturbating into a dirty diaper while watching child pornography before setting a church on fire used an American flag to start the blaze.
Police said Anthony Boisvert, 27, admitted to watching the child pornography in the rectory of the historic First Baptist Church in Lebanon, using a United States flag to start the fire at the church, then setting two other buildings on fire before stabbing two people.
Boisvert allegedly told the detective that he then went to the church, and watched children's porn and/or young girl gymnastics on the rectory computer as he masturbated into a dirty diaper from the church's nursery.
He then said he lit a United States flag on fire in the main church area, causing the church to go up in flames, the affidavit read.
Boisvert allegedly admitted to breaking into the CCBA looking for money, and then the Senior Center where he found $50. He left the center and watched the fire at the church for a period of time, the affidavit read.
He was arraigned Tuesday on two class B felony counts of arson, one class A felony count of arson, two class A counts of first degree assault and two class B counts of tampering with witnesses and informants. He is being held on $500,000 bail.
