Jan. 18 (UPI) -- A Florida man with an unusual wasp removal technique recorded himself taking out an entire nest of the stinging insects with his bare hands.

The Lutz resident, originally from Trinidad, said he filmed himself taking out the wasp nest with his bare hands Jan. 10 to prove to doubters that his method is real and effective.

The man is seen squashing the insects with his bare hands, being careful to avoid their stingers.

"I was born in the island of Trinidad and always dared to be different," the man wrote. "I have been killing wasps with my bare hands for over 20 years. Someone denied that fact and this was a simple demonstration. I recorded this video on January 10th 2017, in front of my house in Florida. I have done this over 50 times and have never gotten stung."

I hope he washes his hands before sitting at the dinner table.

Look how bad his hands shake at the end. I'm guessing he got stung a bunch and is acting tough till the camera cuts

We used do do a similar thing. We'd climb a ladder, grab the nest and see how far we could run before getting stung. If you were fast enough, you wouldn't get stung at all.

How do you run fast with balls that big?

I've been swarmed once. Thankfully I was wearing coveralls and a mask so they only stung my scalp and hands... Fuuuck that, never again.
