A TEEN mum sent a chilling text to her boyfriend after flinging their prematurely born daughter out of a window.
Antonia Lopez texted her boyfriend saying “It was a girl by the way” after she killed the baby in Nebraska.
The 16-year-old has escaped any jail time for the crime after she pleaded guilty in a juvenile court, The Omaha World Herald reports.
Lopez was first charged as an adult and faced a 20-year sentence, but the case was transferred and she was tried as a minor.
Her case was described as a “panicked reaction” rather than a pre-meditated crime.

Cops say she was alone in her room when she went into labour and gave birth to a premature baby girl.
She then tossed the tiny infant out of the window and later told her mum what she had done.
Her mum found the child and called the police at 4.12am to report the death.
The tiny girl was pronounced dead on arrival at hospital, weighing a just two pounds after being born between 25 to 28 weeks, according to police.
Lopez was originally charged as an adult but Douglas County Attorney Don Kleine said his office agreed to move the case to the juvenile court after considering the teenager’s lack of criminal record, her mental state and her actions.
He said: “It’s a horrible case — terrible. To me, after we looked into it, the way things happened, it didn’t seem to be anything you would label as an adult-specific act. It wasn’t a planned-out, thought-out process. It was more of a panicked reaction.”
The teen denied knowing she was pregnant before giving birth two months prematurely.

She told cops she woke up in pain and laid a towel down in her room thinking she was having a period.
But texts to her boyfriend seem to suggest otherwise as she wrote: “Babe I’m having contractions in my lower abs every couple seconds. It hurts so much
“I am in so much pain” and later, “I want it to stop”
Then she added, “it was a girl by the way.
She also wrote on Facebook the same day, “Who can do me a huge favour and has a car?”
The juvenile court ordered the 16-year-old continue with school and receive medical and psychiatric care while in foster care.
