ALIEN conspiracy theorists claim this video shows an alien peering round a rock on Mars – and is conclusive proof there IS intelligent life on the Red Planet.

The images, uploaded to YouTube, were taken from the NASA Curiosity Rover droid which is scouring the surface for signs of life - but appeared to have missed it, if the alien chasers are to be believed.

Insiders51, which uploaded the video called ‘Tiny Alien On Mars?’, said in a promotional blurb: "A tiny alien was discovered on Mars not long ago. In the image a head, torso and legs can clearly be distinguished."

YouTube channel Paranormal Crucible also featured it in a video.

Its blurb said: "I have colorised the image and added eyes to the head so its easier to see, but everything is there in the original image, whatever it is it looks humanoid, reminds me of the Atacama Alien, about the same size too, this one is around 6 inches."

It is the latest in a series of alleged tiny aliens found in NASA images of Mars, and some alien chasers claim the planet could be populated by small humanoids as a result.

One of the believers is Scott C Waring, of Ufosightingsdaily.com.

In a post entitled ‘6-Inch Alien Seen On Mars In NASA Photo, Absolute Proof Life Exists On Mars’, he said: "An interesting video appeared this week and its shows an alien about 10cm tall peeking around the side of a broken ancient wall.

"The alien's head appears sharp and almost bird like in nature, however its chest and abs are obvious.

"Also it has one leg sticking out as if it was sitting down on the side of the rock wall. Very interesting.

"This is one of the species that once lived on Mars and is still living there now, but in lower numbers.

"The mysteries of Mars just keep revealing themselves one by one."

But channels like Paranormal Crucible have been criticised for its use of digital, editing and manipulation of images to make them appear more like what is being suggested.

Sceptics argue these finds are just simple cases of pareidolia where the brain trucks the eye into seeing familiar shapes or objects in patterns or textures like clouds or the surface of a rock.
