The Trump White House has been troubled with leaks to the press since the president took office, but a new report has surfaced with a name of a possible leaker.

Unidentified White House sources told Breitbart News that Trump's former Deputy Chief of Staff Katie Walsh is suspected of being the leaker.

Walsh is a political friend of White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus who reportedly pulled her from her job on March 30.

POLITICO reported on March 30 that Walsh was being moved out of the Trump administration and to an outside group, America First Policies, which was blamed for the failure of the GOP replacement health care bill because it didn't buy television ads or target Republicans who were not on board.

Priebus, Trump's son-in-law and aide Jared Kushner, and White House chief strategist Steve Bannon told the press that the Walsh move was a rebooting of America First Policies, and not a White House shake-up.

"It was abundantly clear we didn’t have air cover," Priebus stated. "No one can fix this problem better than Katie Walsh."

Sources told Breitbart News that the beginning of the end for Walsh at the White House began with a Feb. 19 article by conservative blogger Charles Johnson on his gotnews! site, which said that Walsh (per sources) was leaking information to The New York Times, The Washington Post and POLITICO.

An unidentified source told Johnson: "Everyone knows not to talk to her in the White House unless you want to see it in the press. The only question is whether or not she’s doing it at the behest of [White House Chief of Staff] Reince Priebus or if she’s doing it to advance herself in DC media circles."

Johnson wrote that Walsh is close to Maggie Haberman, a reporter for The New York Times.

An unidentified senior aide told Johnson that Walsh is called "Madame President" in the White House, and added: "It isn’t a compliment."

An unidentified source close to the Trump family said: "The president and his allies have been deliberately feeding her fake information in order to find her network. It’s been going well."

A source said that Walsh was a #NeverTrump Republican.

Philip Rucker, a reporter for The Washington Post, tweeted on March 30: "Inside White House, some officials saw Katie Walsh as 'a leaky vessel,' per source. Loyal to Priebus, but viewed suspiciously by others."

Walsh has not issued any statements.

On March 1, Trump told Fox News that former President Obama's people were possibly behind the White House leaks, noted CNN:

You never know what's exactly happening behind the scenes. You know, you're probably right or possibly right, but you never know. No, I think that President Obama is behind it because his people are certainly behind it.

And some of the leaks possibly come from that group, which are really serious because they are very bad in terms of national security. But I also understand that is politics. In terms of him being behind things, that's politics. And it will probably continue.
