A man who was high after eating mind-altering mushrooms is facing criminal charges for running around naked and hitting another person on the head with a rock, state police at Gettysburg said Monday.
The incident that got 18-year-old Jordan C. Eckard of Hanover in trouble occurred around 1:45 p.m. Sunday at Conewago Campground in Adams County's Menallen Township, police said.
They said Eckard stripped after ingesting the mushrooms and got into an altercation with two other men, ages 54 and 62. Drug paraphernalia was found in Eckard's car, police said.
Investigators said Eckard was charged with aggravated and simple assault, harassment, disorderly conduct, possessing drug paraphernalia, public drunkenness and indecent exposure.
