Nearly-naked baristas in Everett, Wash. could soon be told to swap their seductive pasties for tank tops.
Councillors in the coastal city north of Seattle are preparing for multiple public hearings to discuss potentially outlawing the scantily clad coffee servers.
If the ordinance passes, it would force bare-chested baristas at places like Hillbilly Hotties to cover up or for owners to apply for strip club licenses, which are strictly regulated.

While Fox News refers to Washington – a state where women are free to be topless – as the birthplace of bikini baristas, concerned citizens in Everett say some servers have far more than coffee on the menu.
Washington’s Q13 Fox News reported in 2009 that it caught a bikini barista selling a strip show at a small coffee stand.
“I understand that (customers) will sneak a peek while I make their coffee, that is what they are here for,” Kat, a barista at Hillbilly Hotties, told Q13 News this week.
“Those people who take it a little bit further, I just quickly shut the window on them and I tell them, I won’t service you.”
But there’s equal concern from area parents who are worried their children could be subjected to nudity.
As seen on the company's Facebook page, some servers at Hillbilly Hotties don little more than pasties and post racy videos to the company's social media page.
