Shamed footballer Adam Johnson has been caught on camera bragging to prison inmates he wishes he'd RAPED his 15-year-old schoolgirl victim.

The ex-Sunderland star was secretly filmed behind bars bragging about the incident which led him to be jailed.

The 29-year-old is currently serving a six year sentence for sexual activity with the underage girl.

In the footage - when a fellow inmate points out he did not rape her - the former England star is seen to laugh: “No, I wish I f***ing did for six year.”

He can also be seen making crude gestures about his victim - and claims he would have only got a caution from police had he not been famous.

Just last month, as he marked a year behind bars, Johnson had hoped to launch an appeal against his conviction and jail term - but last month it emerged that has already been denied.

Now the new footage, obtained by the Sun, appears to have dashed any hopes of him seeing early release - or a move to a 'cushy' open jail.

In the clip, the ex-England player is apparently seen discussing his crime with fellow prisoners in the laundry room Moorland jail near Doncaster.

When asked by inmates what would have happened if he was “Joe Public”, the disgraced star said: “I would have got a caution at the police station. They might not even have charged.”

One inmate asks: “How long you got, six years int ya?, then adds: “It’s not like you f***ing raped her or owt like that?”

The sportsman is then heard laughing as he says: “No, I wish I f***ing did for six year.”

He also says: “And there’s lads on here who’s f***ing shagged like 12-year-olds and got 13 months and that.

“D’you know what I mean? They got like half the time!”

Johnson, who has a two-year-old daughter with ex-partner Stacey Flounders, even crudely bragged that his victim used to wait for him after matches 'with her t*** out'.

This story was originally published by The Sun last night.

A Prison Service Spokesperson told MirrorOnline in a statement today: “We are committed to making prisons places of safety and reform and are stepping up measures to find and block illegal mobile phones.

"Those who break the rules will be punished and can face extra time behind bars. An investigation is underway."

The trial

The Court of Appeal last month denied Johnson's legal team leave to appeal after they contested his conviction on sexual activity with a child and the severity of his sentence.

Before his trial, Johnson - who earned £60,000-a-week at Sunderland and earned 12 caps for England - admitted one count of sexual activity by grooming, kissing and touching his victim, a besotted 15-year-old Sunderland fan.

At the time of his trial - facing accusations of grooming, kissing and touching his victim - Johnson told the jury he was "ashamed" of what he had done.

Moreover he said he felt "shame and remorse" over the way he had behaved - saying he "wholeheartedly apologised for the stupidity" of his actions.

Johnson admitted grooming the girl and one charge of sexual activity with a child, relating to kissing her.

He denied there was any further sexual activity with the girl in his Range Rover when he met up with her in County Durham.

He was cleared of one charge relating to another sexual act.

Johnson told the court: “She was blameless and could not have consented. It was all my fault.

"She was a child and should have been safe in my company. My behaviour was wholly unacceptable.”

The Support

MirrorOnline reported last month how he had lost his appeal fight - with three judges at the Court of Appeal having ruled he would not be allowed to either appeal his conviction or his length of sentence.

His sister Faye Johnson - who has led the "Justice for Johnson" camppaign - had previously tweeted in in January: "I hope that justice can finally be done for my brother".
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Pleased that we now have a date for Adam&#39;s appeal against conviction and sentence. I hope that justice can finally be done for my brother&#39;.</p>&mdash; Faye Johnson (@f10aye) <a href="https://twitter.com/f10aye/status/826163245136363520">January 30, 2017</a></blockquote><script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
It was retweeted at the time by Johnson's ex-fiancee Stacey Flounders who has previously visited him over the Christmas period in Doncaster's Moorland prison with their toddler daughter.

She is known to have received a barrage of abuse on Twitter and has asked people to sign a petition to the government to "stop troll bullying".

The Appeal

In its judgement, the Court of Appeal judges said: "The renewed application for leave to appeal against conviction is refused.

"The judge in extensive sentencing remarks reminded himself of all possible relevant issues."

Judge Jonathan Rose, when sentencing, said he was satisfied the girl suffered "severe psychological harm" and that Johnson took advantage of "a young teenager's adoration of a successful celebrity".

At the centre of his fight against conviction was a criticism that the trial judge "misdirected" the jury on issues of his "credibility".

Eleanor Laws QC, representing Johnson at the Court of Appeal, argued that this must have had "an adverse and unfair impact on the credibility of Adam Johnson in a case where credibility was the central issue, hence the conviction is unsafe".

In relation to the length of his sentence submitted: "When one looks at the sentencing judge's remarks, he was clearly highly influenced by the fact that the applicant was a famous and successful footballer and, in fact, counted that against him."

The appeal moves were contested by Kate Blackwell QC, for the Crown.

He has so far served a year of his six-year term.

The reaction today

Anti-rape campaigners and charities involved in child protection are today slamming Johnson's apparent 'lack of remorse'.

They fear that his comments could encourage victims of such crimes not to report them.

Speaking to MirrorOnline, Lauren Seager-Smith of Kidscape said: "We do a lot of work with children in schools around sexism, sexit behaviour, consent and 'no means no' and when a statement comes out like by a public figure, it sets our work back.

"We must challenge these attitudes - it's not acceptable to say that the way a child's dressed they are fair game.

"Young people look up to footballers. Adults in a position of authority aren't just teachers but footballers and celebrities - and when you are in a position of authority you don't have a right to abuse that power."

An NSPCC spokesman said in a statement: “What part of ‘age of consent’ does Johnson not get? To make it crystal clear to him: adults can’t have sex with children.

“His lack of remorse for sexual activity with a child is appalling and shows utter contempt for his victim.”

Barnardo’s chief executive Javed Khan also said in a statement to MirrorOnline this morning: “Adam Johnson was found guilty of grooming and sexual activity with a child and must take full responsibility for his actions.

“His victim was exploited and left devastated by the person she idolised. She showed incredible bravery in giving evidence in court and has suffered enough.

“Victims are never to blame, regardless of what they wear or what they have drunk. Convicted offenders are always at fault, whether or not they are famous.

“We want other victims of child sexual abuse to have the confidence to come forward and seek justice.”

A spokeswoman for Rape Crisis said they don't usually comment on individual cases or offenders but said in a statement: "Rape and sexual violence are no laughing matter.

"They can and do have long-lasting, even lifelong, and very serious impacts on the lives and physical, mental and emotional health and well-being of victims and survivors.

"That's not something that should ever be wished on someone or joked about."

Johnson's family

The Sun reports that Johnson's father Dave, when about the video, said: “Whatever this shows it can’t hurt him any more than he’s already been hurt.

“However this has been made it is illegal and I’ll be contacting our lawyers about it.”

So he groomed (no details) her and kissed her? So actual sexual contact, and 6 years.

That doesn't seem harsh, especially in the UK?

lost in melb.

What a cock n balls up story. He's complaining about a 6 year sentence for kissing a 15 yr old girl - using language and boasting/machismo that would be congruent to an all-male prison environment.

Here's an interesting scenario. You bat eyelids and flirt with a 15 year old gal for some time, and then have sex with her on her 16th birthday. Are you guilty of child grooming?

Exactly correct.

I am sure it depends on the jurisdiction in definition, intent, etc. Here grooming itself can be a crime without any sexual contact. Internet grooming, for example, is processed independently.

But I would guess that it would be hard to prosecute the sex after the age of consent.

really? wow, that seems like quite a stretch. I would argue against role model status, let alone position of authority.

I'm sure when the case was in the courts the media did report that he had a hand job from her but doesn't seem the case now

Johnson, who has been stripped of his 12 England caps, admitted kissing and grooming the besotted fan on the first day of his trial and was later found guilty of a more serious child sexual assault.

so it wasn't just a kiss

so it wasn't just a kiss

The OP story seems to contradict that?

Johnson admitted grooming the girl and one charge of sexual activity with a child, relating to kissing her.

He denied there was any further sexual activity with the girl in his Range Rover when he met up with her in County Durham.

He was cleared of one charge relating to another sexual act.
