A teacher at Moulton Middle School is accused of having sex with a Lawrence County High School student.

Taylor Brooks Boyles, 27, of Moulton, was arrested today on an accusation she had sex with the 18-year-old Lawrence County student, Sheriff Gene Mitchell said.

The sheriff's office, Moulton police and the Lawrence County Board of Education were involved in the case. Mitchell said shortly after learning of the possible illegal contact, board of education staff members notified law enforcement.

Boyles turned herself in and was released from the Lawrence County Jail on $10,000 bail.
