A video from noted conspiracy theorists SecureTeam 10 describes what it calls "leaked" footage of an alien craft at Area 51 in Nevada.

The video, which has racked up over 200,000 views on YouTube, appears to show a flying object hovering in the sky, then flying in a way that known aircraft can not currently do.

Light emits from the craft as it moves side to side then up and down.

On the video, Tyler Glockner, who runs SecureTeam 10, described the clip as a "hidden gem," noting it was alleged to have been filmed in the 1980's or 1990's.

"It's one of the mysterious pieces in UFOlogy," Glockner said of the footage.

SecureTeam 10, which openly states that it runs conspiracy theory-based videos, has more than 900,000 subscribes to its YouTube channel.

Area 51 has become a hot topic for extraterrestrial enthusiasts, due to the U.S. government never acknowledging its presence until 2013.

The National Security Archive at George Washington University declassified CIA documents in August 2013, thanks to a freedom of information request (FOIA) by Archivist Jeffrey Richelson, which confirmed the existence of the Nevada military base.

The famed U-2 spy plane, as well as the Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird are both confirmed to have been tested at Area 51.

You kind of have to acknowledge it when it shows up on Google Maps.

By the way, the military doesn't call it Area 51. They say it's a part of Edward's Air Force base.

From Wiki about all the names:

The United States Air Force facility commonly known as Area 51 is a highly classified remote detachment of Edwards Air Force Base, within the Nevada Test and Training Range. According to the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), the correct names for the facility are Homey Airport (ICAO: KXTA) and Groom Lake, though the name Area 51 was used in a CIA document from the Vietnam War. Other names used for the facility include Dreamland and nicknames Paradise Ranch, Home Base, and Watertown. The special use airspace around the field is referred to as Restricted Area 4808 North (R-4808N).

My brother was in the Air Force. We have a bunch of Air Force friends because of him. They always refer to it as Dreamland Ranch. If you ask them about Area 51, they say, "What's that?"

No. You need to be contracted to work there as a civilian, and that requires security clearances you can't just apply for. Generally, if you don't have a PhD in some engineering-related field, then forget about it. Most military people can't just walk on the base. The only flights to and from there are from McCarran International in Las Vegas, and they're with a US military airline called Janet Airlines. They transport the contracted employees to and from the base every day, courtesy of the US taxpayers.

Sorry. I used to be an Area 51 buff. I know a ton about what goes on there, generally speaking. I wanted to work there when I was younger, but seeing as how things go in life, it ain't ever gonna happen. Same thing with NASA, only the security clearances are easier to get with NASA.
