A rambler who was left open-mouthed after stumbling across a 'feral-looking' naked man on an afternoon stroll said it was 'the weirdest afternoon walk ever'.
Nick Pentecost was exploring Preseli Hills in Pembrokeshire on Saturday, when he suddenly spotted a figure on the horizon.
The astonished visitor described the nude man as feral but calm and said he appeared to be hunched over as he wandered around aimlessly.
'It was the weirdest afternoon walk ever,' Mr Pentecost said.
'I went for a wander, as I regularly do, into the Preselis.
'I was walking to the top of Carn Goedog with no-one around as usual except in the distance I suddenly thought I saw this figure and as I looked closely it turns out I was right.
'To my amazement and shock I realised I was looking at a feral looking man, hunched over looking at the ground,' he said.

He decided to capture the moment on camera.
He said: 'I paused and managed to get my phone out and take a few snaps.
'I watched him walking around kind of calmly and sort of aimlessly for about 20 seconds then I think he noticed me and I very quickly turned and sped back down the mountain to my car.
'I looked back to see if he had followed me but didn't see the figure again. Very, very strange!'
So far, the identity of the man is unknown.
Mr Pentecost had been walking along the well-known trail near Eglwyswrw.
But what appeared in front of his eyes had to be seen to be believed.
The Preseli Hills, also known as the Preseli Mountains, is a range of hills in north Pembrokeshire, West Wales, mostly within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.
The area is popular with locals and holidaymakers alike - and also, it appears, with naked roamers.
A local said there had been one or two incidents in the past with nude wanderers being spotted up in the hills.
