For some reason, most of the country wants yet another god damn election.

Less than a week ago we had the third national vote in as many years.

But rather than being sick of the whole process, the majority of the country would apparently welcome another one.

This is according to a YouGov poll, which found that 43% of the UK wants another general election this autumn.

That’s compared to 38%, who would rather not have to go to the polls again.

While it might sound totally ridiculous, don’t forget that YouGov were pretty much the only pollster to accurately predict last week’s hung parliament.

Theresa May’s government is likely to do everything in its power to avoid a second general election this year.

Yet, with the absolute chaos that has ensued since last week’s result, they may not have a choice.
