A City of Florissant custodian is accused of taking photos up the skirts of city employees and breaking into women's homes to steal underwear.
Ronald Pixley, 59, of Florissant, was charged Saturday with three counts of burglary and one count of invasion of privacy.
Florissant police began to investigate the janitor Friday after getting a report of "suspicious activity." Investigators soon discovered Pixley had been taking photos under the skirts of female employees at City Hall without their knowledge since March 2016, police said.
Two victims have been identified so far, according to police.
Investigators also say Pixley broke into three women's homes to steal undergarments, feminine products and toiletries.
Pixley gave a full confession and several stolen items were recovered, according to police. He was fired from the city on July 21.
His bail was set at $50,000, cash-only.
