Taylor Swift teased the new music video for her new single, “Look What You Made Me Do,” on Good Morning America’s Friday, August 25, episode.

The 13-second clip begins with the singer, 27, wearing her classic red lip with matching nails as she bites down on a necklace. The camera flashes between scenes as Swift is seen sitting in a chair tapping long, sharp nails and then swinging in an orange ensemble while holding tightly to ropes. The teaser ends with Swift standing in front of a group with her hands on her hips as she mouths the song's lyrics

The full video will premiere at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, August 25, the network announced on Friday.

Swift released the audio for the song — the first single from her sixth studio album, Reputation — just before midnight on Friday. The tune, which was cowritten by Jack Antonoff, takes notable jabs at haters, with lyrics that include "I got smarter, I got harder in the nick of time / Honey, I rose up from the dead, I do it all the time / I've got a list of names and yours is in red, underlined" and, "I'm sorry, the old Taylor can't come to the phone right now / Why? Oh, 'cause she's dead!”

Swift announced on the single on Wednesday, August 23, and also revealed that Reputation will drop on November 10. The Grammy-winner teased fans two days earlier when she returned from a brief social media blackout to post 10-second clips of a snake, which many users guessed was a hint about her dropping new music.

The MTV Video Music Awards will air on Sunday, August 27, at 8 p.m. ET.

It's not news Taylor Swift and Kanye West dislike each other, but the timing of her new album release takes it to a whole new level.

Taylor's album, "Reputation," is set to drop November 10, exactly 10 years to the day Donda West died from complications from cosmetic surgery.

Donda was everything to Kanye and her death shattered him for years. In fact, his breakdown last year coincided with the death anniversary.

In fairness, November 10 is a Friday ... the preferred day to drop albums. In fact, a source at Taylor's label tells us they picked the date "based on other Universal Music Group releases. There is no correlation."

Nonetheless, Donda's death was such a big deal it's hard to forget, especially if you're feuding with her son.

TMZ broke the story ... when Kanye released "Famous" with the lyric, "I made that bitch famous" -- referring to Taylor -- she claimed he didn't give her a heads-up, but turns out Kanye recorded her saying just that.

I haven't watched the vid but heard the tune this morning. In one part she says the old Taylor can't come because....she's dead!

a little weird and jarring for a supposed upbeat pop tune...and it's full of the typical Swiftisms...you did this to me, I had to change, it's your fault, you are the devil etc..

I'm not much for her music but from what I've heard of the latest stuff, she does sound like a one trick pony.

I found a few of her past songs catchy, but I'm really not a fan of this one.

all these songs bitching about people.... has she ever thought maybe she's the cause of it all?

Of course not. She's hot and she's rich. The world revolves around her. How can she be the one who starts all of the shit that she's involved in?

Truth be told, she seems like a royal bitch at times.
